Very Nice

I really liked this, however, less than the first. This is probably due to the fact that the second is much more difficult, I enjoyed going through many of the levels that I would only need to retry once or twice, this one however, had me stumped in no time, it is not a bad thing however. Considering I am not much of a puzzle game fan (due to me sucking at them) you have impressed me again, the different weights and physics to the varying totems were great.

But I do feel that the excessive amount of different blocks boggles the mind more than challenges it. The explosions and floating blocks sure did make for some creative ways to win, but it will only appeal to the hardcore puzzle crowd, for the most part.

All that said, I can tell a lot of work went into this, you should be proud.
Congrats on front page as well.

Very nice

It was very much like some of the other "real life" FPS flash games, but unlike them you used real people instead of cartoons, and made it exponentially more entertaining, The COD music was also a nice touch, like someone mentioned, a more time crisis feel to it would be great, but then again, since none seem to exist, it must be ridiculously difficult. Still, for something that sounds like you just tossed it together, I am very impressed, and whoever play the bad guys are very good at falling down!

Great work, keep it up!

Deleted?

Why was my review deleted? Fine, I'll go REAAALLY in depth as to why you only get a 2.

It is not that it isn't entertaining, ragdolls are awesome, however, I have seen at least 4 of these, and they have all had the same premise, except the others had spike walls and such, one of them I played about 2 days before I left the review for this was the same as this. When I said you used the same blood and sound effects I wasn't joking, they are the same. I am not accusing you of copying anything, but the likeness is undeniable.

And like I said at the end of the first review, it doesn't differentiate itself from the others, maybe if there was something other than a floor I would vote higher.
I do not understand how a polite review I left before was deleted, and people that tell me my work is garbage, and that I should give up get to keep there reviews up.

wow

wasn't expecting much, but it was awesome, guess that's why its the underdog this week, good job, its just to bad you can't save it, the only thing to make it better would be make the colors a little richer and add more stuff, and occasionally there were some rough edges, but all minor things, good work! :D

Awesome, but one problem...

Saying you were a fan of Dad n Me, when you put a game that amazing in peoples heads, it sets up for some dissapointment, don't get me wrong, I LOVED this game, but its lacking that charm that Dad n Me had, its a bit rougher, easier, and lacking the cute little characters you can throw in front of a bus.

Gameplay: Fun and quirky, not as good as Dad n Me but as a standalone title its does what it's supposed to, but toss in some more interesting combos, the spit, snot and farts were a bit overused, it would have been nice to see some variations.

Story: Who cares?

Sound: Don't know, playing this game during class, sorry....

Overall: 9/10

Good Job, and keep it up! Maybe you will top Dad n Me with your next one :)

I simply HAD to mention Dad 'n Me as it was a huge inspiration for Hobo. I didnt really set out to top that wonderful game. I never even imagained it possible. I've been waiting for another game like that to come out, but it just wasn't happening, and suddenly I found myself with the skills to attempt something similar. If you have a problem with me saying I'm a fan of Dad 'n Me, you can go and eat some broccoli :)

Thanks for the long review and the NINE!

Simplistic fun!

Loads of fun despite its simple and ordinary exterior, the missles were pretty damn hard to dodge, but if it were easier, then it would probably be TOO easy, so its good as it is. Not to mention a HILARIOUS running animation, just like "moomoocow" I would run back and forth just to watch him. The slow motion was a nice touch as well.

One complaint however was that it takes to long to retry, it would be nice to have a "press space to retry" or something.

Graphics: not great, not bad

Creativity: Creative spin on a simple game

Gameplay: lots of fun without getting boring to quick

Overall: 9/10

Great work, and keep it up! :D

I like it but.....

there's one problem, and that's luck, this is a puzzle game, and I love it, but its getting annoying to finally figure out what to do, and have the outcome depend on dropping down and shooting just right to hit a box, and if you miss, you get to restart.

Finally.........

I remember playing Advance wars 2 on the GBA during class, playing against my friends, this totally reminded me of it, and is ALMOST a better version. The only thing missing is the little split screen animation clips when you attack. Aside from that you also included a GREAT army-ish music clip that fits well, the whole premise is a copy of advance wars, but that is not a bad thing, in fact its a long overdo game I have always wanted to see on NG. An online multiplayer inclusion would easily make this the best flash game ever made.

I wonder how many people have played advance wars....
You should get the company to sponsor you to advertise them XD

Great graphics

There is a lack of animation though, I would prefer to see the archers actually pulling the bow back to shoot and such, and the only thing that really changes with different units is that they are more effective, it would be nice to have archers for longer range, wizards could use various spells to slow down enemies or light them on fire or such. ninjas could be placed on one square and hidden, and only attack on the one space but instead "assassinate" the enemy that does a lot of damage. Stuff like that, that being said it is a good defense game, and held my attention for a while, maybe its just because of all the amazing defense games lately that kind of overshadow this.

7/10

great idea

better than the first, and yes the bosses ARE awesome, the only problem is its almost TOO simple, so it doesn't hold your attention for a long time IMO. Still, its innovative and fun nonetheless. Good work
